| All repairs are to be completed according to the termite report recommendation. Repairs must comply with local building code and may require upgrades to comply with current code. Building code upgrades, permit fees and possible engineering may be required by your local building department, and are not included in the Termite Report repair bid. Work must be completed in a workmanship-like manor. All specific questions regarding recommended repairs must be directed to the inspector who performed that inspection and made the recommendations. It is best to and have the owner and agent be present during the original inspection to discuss the report findings while the inspector is present. The inspector may be able to give adequate answers over the phone (if the owner or agent could not be present at the original inspection) thereby avoiding a consultation appointment and fee. If an on site appointment is necessary, call our office to schedule a consultation appointment for the inspector to meet with owner, agent or contractor to discuss the necessary repairs. Consultation appointments are a minimum of $45.00 each. (This fee recovers our direct cost to provide this service) |
